In order to identify and evaluate Green opportunities, we work with your teams to develop insightful recommendations on strategic directions and specific project opportunities that can move any corporate eco-systems needle toward the Green-space direction. GI Hopkins Green Think Team will devise ways to use any commodity or product to help your end users become sustainable. Identifying and executing on innovative opportunities, global corporations will improve energy efficiency.
GI Hopkins began his environmental interests as a Boy Scout recycling newspapers in the early 1960’s. Next he helped form a sportsmen’s club raising money for trips by collecting newspapers and soda bottles. He was introduced to a network marketing system and biodegradable products and became hooked on network marketing and the positive impact these networks were making on our planet. In college he remembers a group burying a car and protests against the oil companies where the riot squads were called in. A bloody mess he will never forget. He followed his passion to become a teacher in Industrial Arts & Technology winning several awards from Bank of America, Kiwanis, Rotary and the Industrial Arts Association becoming one of California’s youngest tool and die makers and getting a California Vocational Teaching Credential (1of2) in Industrials Technologies. He engaged his talents as a manufacturing business consultant with a love for quality control analysis. The opportunity to switch careers to horticulture was followed by a second California Vocational Teaching Ccredential in Landscaping & Horticulture. In the 1970’s he set up one of California’s earliest Green-waste recycling projects, lectured to Garden Writers at UC Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo. on high-yield agriculture and aquaculture, and started a garden center. GI developed real estate as a family business and became a contractor in General Building & Engineering and Landscape Water Distribution.
That led to 30 years in construction, working on environmental research in solar energy, tire & glass recycling, source-point sewer treatment and projects with associates throughout the world from government Green-waste recycling, oil clean-ups, gas tank remediations, agricultural waste remediations & animal waste remediation in the millions of tons. He has since spoke on “How the Environment Affects Our Health” on over 1500 radio stations in 23 countries and produced over 350 TV shows on Emergency Preparedness & Health, Safety & Green. He currently has over 520 websites to train and teach the interested in how to make a difference and earn a living cleaning up the environment.
Our group measures its effectiveness by monitoring the impact we have on the client-company's environmental indicators and on the sustainability of our users.
